Truer words have never been spoken. By doing smalls things, the continued repeatedness of these actions will inevitably lead to transformation. On Saturday July 14, 2018 three students along with our founder visited The Jamaica National Children’s Disabilities Home.

It was truly another amazing day spent being transformers . Upon arrival they jumped immediately into duty and did it with happiness and love. The day was spent helping with laundry, spending time with and feeding the children, hanging and removing clothes from lines; and folding sheets and clothing so that it was a day helping to improve both the lives of the caregivers of the facilities as well as showing the children love.

The three students spoke about rather  having done something meaningful on such a beautiful Saturday rather than being at home laying in bed. Hereare the reiws from the young ladies:

“The children’s home visit was such a great experience. Although I arrived a bit late, I was still able to feed some of the children and spend time with the wonderful caretakers. Even though they have their challenges they’re still able to have smiles on their faces! I Will definitely be joining up with Outreach Outlet again 🙂 “- Krystal Boothe.( Top )

” The Jamaica National Children’s Home was a different experience for me, especially since I helped with the disabilities section. Getting to interact with them, help to feed them and even seeing how the care takers are with them was really enlightening because they are not different from us they are just at a little disadvantaged and need help from others who genuinely have there best interest at heart. Getting this new experience was amazing and I would like to give a big thank you to The Outreach Outlet for giving me this opportunity to help and give back some of time to others who really need it. Again Thank you!” – Saffron Lemonious ( Middle Left )

On a memorable Saturday at a special needs home for children, I was able to give back my time and resources to  children with disabilities who only wanted love and care. Special needs children are one of the most discriminated against and I thank Outreach Outlet Jamaica for the opportunity of learning how and what these children go through on a daily basis and gain understanding. It was truly a humbling experience with friends who share the same compassion as I do and I will definitely be volunteering more with Outreach Outlet!” – Diane Graham.( Middle centre )

We are proud of them for stepping up to the plate as our future leaders of tomorrow. We admire these ladies and are grateful for their giving spirits.
